Abstract
A small clinical series of patients treated by hydrostatic bladder dilatation is reported. The methods used, the complications and technical difficulties encountered are described. 4 patients out of 14, who had a complete course of treatment are free of any further tumour 12 months later, which in the context of their previous progress is a considerable improvement. These 4 patients did not appear to have any particular feature which, on clinical assessment, would have allowed us to be more selective in applying this treatment.
