Effects ofΛ−ΣCoupling inHΛ4,HeΛ4, andHeΛ5

Abstract

We consider the effect on the binding energies of ${}_{\Lambda }{}^4{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{He}-{}_{\Lambda }{}^4{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{H}$ of inclusion of admixing the $\Sigma$ particle, based on a $\Lambda -N$ potential derived from ${}_{\Lambda }{}^5{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{He}$. This mixing explains the discrepancy in Coulomb energy of ${}_{\Lambda }{}^4{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{He}-{}_{\Lambda }{}^4{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{H}$ and leads to a consistent set of potential parameters.
