Abstract
A high speed liquid chromatographic method is described for the analysis of bitter components in crude drugs [amarogentin, amaroswerin, amaropanin, gentiopicroside, swertiamarin and sweroside] from Gentianaceous plants, using a silica column and chloroform-ethanol mobile phases. From the precision and recovery rates in standard addition tests, this quantitative method was considered to be excellent. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
