The determination of inorganic iodide in urine by neutron-activation analysis

Abstract
The determination of stable inorganic iodide in body fluids by neutron activation is a well documented technique. Normally, however, it involves either a chemical separation or a preferential elution step. A preliminary investigation of the latter method shows that by using ammonium nitrate as the eluent, a considerably sharper separation of the iodine-128 can be obtained.
