Use of Precoated, Flexible Thin-Layer Sheets in Drug Screening

Abstract

The role of thin-layer chromatography (TLC) in drug screening programs and the features of this analytical technique are discussed. A detailed working procedure which uses precoated, flexible sheets is presented. In addition alternative methods of drug extraction, chromatography, and visualization are described.
