High-Pressure Liquid Chromatographic Separations of Some Transition Metal Cluster Complexes

Abstract
High-pressure liquid chromatography has been used to separate the following mixtures of transition metal cluster complexes: Ru3(CO)12, H4Ru4(CO)12, and H2FeRu3(CO)13; lr4(CO)9(PPH3)3 and PPh3; and HFeCo3(CO)10(PPh3)2, Co2(CO)6(PPh3)2 and two unidentified compounds resulting from the photolysis of HFeCo3(CO)10(PPh3)2. The separations were achieved using a Corasil II-C18 reverse-phase column with methanol/water mobile phases.
