Abstract
An electron gun is described which will provide a current of 0.16 μA at 2 eV, in a beam of convergence half‐angle 0.03 rad, 2.5 mm in diameter at the space charge limited waist. At electron energies above 12 eV, the beam current is 2.7 μA and independent of energy. Keywords
