Systemic Control of Cherry Leaf-Spot Fungus by Foliar Sprays of Actidione Derivatives

Abstract
The oxime derivative of actidione applied to cherry foliage at 60 ppm was translocated to new growth in sufficient amounts to provide protection against infestation by Coccomyces humalis for 2 to 3 weeks. Slight inhibition of shoot growth was noted at this and higher concentrations. The isomer, acetate, and semi-carbazone derivatives were systemically effective at 10 ppm, were protective at 0.5 ppm , and eradicative at 4 ppm when applied 4 days after inoculation.
