Effect of Heparin on Circulating Walker Carcinosarcoma 256 Cells2

Abstract

Heparinization of the rat resulted in a significantly lower tumor-cell count in the systemic circulation after a single inoculation of 300,000 Walker carcinosarcoma 256 cells. The transplant-ability of these circulating cells was greatly decreased by the heparinization of the animal.
