Abstract
The heartwood of J. foetidissima contains 2 new sesquiterpene hydroxy acids, [alpha]-cedrene, calamenene, a new sesquiterpene oxide and the alcohols cedrol and widdrol. Positive evidence was obtained for the presence of [delta] -cadinene and an isocadinene in addition to several unidentified sesquiterpene hydrocarbons.
