Abstract
The first measurements of phonon frequencies in a metal as a function of temperature, at constant values of the atomic volume, are reported. The , mode exhibits considerable temperature dependence at constant volume, whereas modes in the , , and branches show little such dependence. The mode Grüneisen parameters are also determined.
