Abstract
Various forms of the asymptotic expansion of the wavefunction describing two outgoing electrons in the field of the nucleus are considered for a simple model problem. The connection with the asymptotic behaviour of the Fourier expansion is determined. Numerical calculations are carried out to determine the region where the asymptotic expansion becomes valid. Keywords
