Polarization of Protons by Scattering from Beryllium

Abstract
The polarization of high-energy protons scattered from beryllium has been investigated as a function of energy and angle of the scattered protons. It was found that the elastically scattered protons are much more strongly polarized than the quasi-free nucleon-scattered protons.Keywords
