Abstract
Investigations of the electrical activity of the intrinsic muscles of the foot demonstrate that they function as a unit. The intrinsic muscles of the foot play an active role in stabilization during propulsion. Muscle activity is not necessary to support the arches of the fully loaded foot at rest. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
