Tunneling systems in superconducting Y

Abstract
Low-energy atomic tunneling has been observed by acoustic methods in the superconductor Y at very low temperature. An estimate of the tunneling-system density of states yields a magnitude sufficient to account for the linear term observed in recent heat-capacity measurements.
