Abstract
The glacial acetic acid-oxycellulose method of Astwood, Raben, Payne, and Grady for purification of corticotropin leaves an abundant amount of growth hormone in the residual soln. The growth hormone can be purified by ethanol precipitation from a pH 8.5 supernatant. Thus, purified corticotropin and growth hormone can be prepared from the same batch of hog pituitaries in a single procedure. Keywords
