The Effect of Choline-Deficiency on Uterine Activity of Rats

Abstract
Weight and response of excised uteri to epinephrine, acetylcholine, and posterior pituitary extract were determined for 7 postpartum lactating and 9 virgin female rats kept either on Purina dog chow, a choline-deficient diet, or a choline deficient diet plus choline (30 mg. every other day) for 39 days. No significant differences were observed.
