Abstract
Experimental results, based on double-energy measurements using solid-state detectors, are given for the thermal-neutron-induced fission of U233. Detailed mass and energy distributions and mass-versus-energy correlations have been obtained from experiments containing 1.1×106 events. The average total kinetic energy is found to be 172.0±1.8 MeV. Results are compared with other kinetic experiments and with radiochemical measurements.
