Abstract
The outbreak of gaseous bubbles from paddy rice field, especially in the midsummer, is a conspicuous phenomenon which can not be overlooked by farmers. The gas consists largely of methane with small amounts of carbon dioxide, nitrogen and hydrogen.Keywords
