Abstract
The range-momentum relationship for Ag and Br ions () in Ilford K.5 nuclear emulsion is given. The measurements were made using the elastic collisions of , , and with nuclei of the emulsion. Mass separation between the Ag and Br (heavy) and the C, N, and O (light) recoil groups has been achieved by the method of least squares applied to the kinematics and by the grouping of the events on a range-momentum plot.
