Abstract
Regge poles are assumed to exist and the further singularities in the Regge plane resulting from the effect of the separate terms in the unitary sum in the crossed channels are investigated. Three families of singularities are found. However, the equations of the singular curves are independent of the number of particles in the intermediate state corresponding to the term in the unitary sum being considered. Consequently, no firm conclusion can be made about the behavior of the complete amplitude, owing to the possibility of cancellations. Keywords
