Abstract
The ternary Al-Cu-Co phase diagram was studied in order to revise the region of 50–75 at.% Al. The study was carried out by optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and powder X-ray diffraction. Isothermal 800°C, 600°C and 540°C sections are presented. The development of the composition range of the decagonal phase with temperature is discussed. Keywords
