Abstract
The proton magnetic resonance signals and magnetic relaxation times of different parts of the eye have been recorded. Narrow resonance lines seemed to arise from tissues and fluids with a high water content, while a lower water percentage was associated with a broader signal. The results are discussed with special reference to the possibility of distinguishing between free and protein bound water. Keywords
