Abstract
Intact and adrenalectomized rats treated for 10 days with a daily dose of 500 [mu]g4[DELTA]1,4-pregnadiene-3,20-dione-9[alpha]-fluoro-11[beta], 16[alpha],17[alpha]21-tetrol, 3 mg desoxycorticosterone acetate and 250 [mu]g norepinephrine administered on the 8th and 9th days only develop a diffuse type of myocardial lesion resembling the spotty myolysis lesion of man.
