Abstract
The conversion electrons of radium D have been studied with thin sources on thin backings in a beta-ray spectrograph using calibrated photographic emulsions. The number of conversion electrons due to the 47-kev gamma-ray has been measured to be 74±5 per hundred disintegrations. The ratio is 1:0.26:0.077. This implies a complex decay scheme for radium D, since earlier results give 3.5 unconverted 47-kev gamma-rays per hundred disintegrations.
