Abstract
The effect of the double scattering on the angular correlation distribution for the reactions Li7 (p, 2p) He6 and Li6 (p, 2p) He5 is investigated by means of the wave matrix developed by Lippmann. The calculation is made at the incident proton energy of 155 Mev. It is shown that the double scattering terms fill up the dip appeared in a simple impulse approximation and the two humps come closer. Use is made of a single particle wave function for the p-shell proton in the target nucleus. The present result fits well to the experiments for Li7, but does not for Li6.
