Abstract
A method for the separation of lipids by chromatography on alumina has been investigated and used to simplify the problems of analysis of brain lipids. A procedure suitable for the routine lipid analysis of small samples of brain has been described. The lipid composition of a number of samples of human white and grey matter, both fresh and formalin-fixed, has been determined.Keywords
