LINKAGE STUDIES WITH CURLY2 IN THE RAT

Abstract
Linkage studies show that curly2, Cu 2, is inherited independently of the genes A, H, D, Hr, K, C, and P. It had been shown previously that Cu 2 is independent of Cu 1 and consequently of B. Curly2 must therefore lie in a chromosome unidentified by other known genes and so constitutes a marker of a 7th chromosome.
