Abstract
This paper presents a colligation of data dealing with the head circum-ference of infants obtained from 39 investigations dating from 1850 to 1945. Intercomparisons and generalizations are derived on head girth in relation to age, sex, lineage, socio-economic status, secular period, diet, disease, prematurity, birth molding, and birth order.
