Abstract
At least four overlapping perpendicular bands of CH3I are observed in the 2.2 μ region. Two are assigned in this work to ν2+ν4 at 4302.14, and ν4+ν5 at 4438.99 cm—1. Two others are tentatively assigned to ν1+ν5 at 4489.54, and ν1+ν3+ν6 at 4467.04 cm—1. Several anomalous features are outlined, and empirical expressions are given. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
