Abstract
An increase of about 50-100 kG of the upper critical field is observed in Sn1.2(1-x)EuxMo6.35S8 and Pb1-xEux- Mo6.35S8 with respect to the compounds without Eu. This increase, due to the Jaccarino-Peter compensation effect, pushes Hc2 up into the vicinity of 700 kG.Keywords
