Abstract
Miracil D has a marked effect in curing infections of Schistosoma haematobium; it is only slightly less effective against S mansoni infections. Naphthoate and salicylate salts of miracil, in coated tablets, seem to have the least side-effects, and should be used rather than the uncoated hydrochloride salt. Keywords
