Abstract
A facile microwave-hydrothermal approach has been used to synthesize single-crystalline Fe3O4 nanowires within 15 min at 150 °C. The Fe3O4 nanowires, after decorating with carbon, exhibit excellent cyclability and rate performance when employed as an anode in lithium ion batteries. Keywords
