Abstract
This paper describes the design, construction, and testing of fiber-optic probes for temperature monitoring. Results obtained over a temperature range of 20–160 °C demonstrate the usefulness of crushed crystal ruby, in several different configurations, as a means of temperature measurement. Keywords
