Abstract
Senaory hypnoplasty (S.P.) is a technique in hypnodysis in which the hypnotised patient models clay to which various sensory stimuli have been added to stimulate basic primitive memorien, associations, sensations and conflicta. This allows the patient to give plastic expression to reprased and suppressed material which is then followed by verbalization of the conflicts. Thus, the therapeutic process is initisted exceptionally quickly and intendied markedly. The deepemotional participation by the patient ia reflected in the rapidity of his recovery. The therapist remains paseive and dent throughout the session. S.P. has been used succesefully in the treatment of character disorders, anxiety states, phobic reactions, diverse neurotic symptom complainta, various psychophysiological reactions and some psychotic reactions of achieophrenia Verbatim reports of three such seaaiona are included.
