Length 6-7.2 mm.; width 3.6-4.2 mm. Broadly oval ; black, opaque above except as noted below, ventral surface and legs shining; pronotum and elytra with short, sparse, pale setae; venter with a few hairs. Head slightly more than half as wide as pronotum; genae not prominent.
