Abstract
Diluted human and other mammalian blood serum (15 ml of fresh blood serum diluted with 10 ml of freshly distilled water, with 6 ml of 5% formalin solution in distiller water added) can be used as a good adhesive for paraffin sections. It is preferable to Mayer''s egg albumin-glycerol mixture because it is easily obtainable, can be quickly prepared, and sections are less subject to loosening after its use.
