Abstract
Measurements of the sedimentation and diffusion of 2 samples of polysaccharide from P. luteum are descr. A new method is given for analyzing the diffusion data obtained with the Gouy diffusiometer, sos as to obtain a value of the arithmetic-mean diffusion constant which is comparable with the mean sedimentation constant. Approx. values for the amounts and constants of the components of the polysaccharides have been deduced.
