Abstract
The sarcolemmal and central nuclei per muscle fiber were estimated in muscle biopsies from 8 patients with myotonic dystrophy and 8 age- and sex-matched controls. The number of sarcolemmal and centrally placed myonuclei was considerably higher in the patients (P < 0.001) than in the controls. Relation to the satellite cell activity is discussed. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
