Abstract
The structure of the mitotic and cytokinetic apparatus of green algae indicates they comprise at least two distinct phyletic lines. Dinoflagellates and diatoms have unique spindles, which also set them apart from each other and from the other algae so far described, which appear more normal.This publication has 20 references indexed in Scilit:
