Abstract
We studied the effect of the anisotropic crystal structure of TaSe 3 on its superconducting properties. The upper critical field H c2 was estimated from the resistive transition curve as functions of the field direction and temperature. The large anisotropy of H c2 was found in the plane containing the b -axis and the normal of the (\bar201) plane with the maximum along the b -axis. H c2 was also anisotropic in the plane perpendicular to the b -axis with the maximum along the c -axis. The simple one-dimensional picture for the structure of TaSe 3 cannot explain the experimental angular dependence of H c2 .Keywords
