Antigenic Dissimilarity of Cell Surface Antigens of Two Marek's Disease Lymphoma-Derived Cell Lines (MSB-1 and RPL-1)

Abstract
Cell surface antigens of 2 Marek''s disease (MD) lymphoma-derived cell lines were compared by cytotoxicity and membrane immunofluorescence tests using rabbit antisera specific to these 2 cell lines. In both tests, anti-MSB-1 and anti-RPL-1 rabbit sera reacted with the corresponding MSB-1 and RPL-1 cells but not with cells of the other cell line or with normal chicken cells from thymus, spleen or bursa. The tumor-associated surface antigens (MATSA) of these 2 cell lines may be serologically distinct.
