Abstract
Microprobe and X-ray diffraction analysis of a Ag, Sn, and Au spherical alloy showed a β (Ag-Sn) and γ (Ag-Sn) structure with Au substituted for Ag and small areas of Sn-Au segregation. The γ2 Phase was not detected in amalgams made from this alloy after a short period of aging. The reaction phases were determined to be AuSn 2 and AuSn4.This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
