A case of multiple myeloma without synthesis of myeloma protein is described. Its outstanding features were:typical skeletal lesions, absence of paraproteinemia and Bence-Jones proteinuria, decreased levels of serum immunoglobulins, and absence of parenchymal lesions and of amyloidosis.
