Abstract
In the spectrum of in ZnSi:6O a number of weaker lines are observed at intermediate angles of the magnetic field with respect to the crystal axis, in addition to the 30 allowed transitions , . These lines have been measured and assigned to , transitions. The relatively strong intensity is explained and the intensity of the lines is shown to be proportional to . These forbidden transitions can be utilized for dynamic polarization of manganese nuclei.
