Abstract
The intracellular choline concentration in erythrocytes of manic patients who never had Li therapy was 3 times the value for normal human subjects. Li therapy increased this value to 11 times normal and the increase began within the first 2 days of Li therapy. Plasma choline concentration was normal in untreated manic patients and did not change during Li therapy. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
