Abstract
Studies were undertaken to determine the pathogenesis of the hemorrhagic tendency in dogs after irradiation with 150 r. Findings consisted of multiple areas of hemorrhage in the pulmonary, gastrointestinal, and urinary systems, anemia, leuco-penia, thrombocytopenia, prolongation of clot retraction, and hypothromboplastinemia. No prolongation of the clotting time of whole blood or increase in the heparin cofactor were found. Keywords
