Abstract
Spread of lesions in Crohn's disease of the colon was closely followed in 20 cases, representing almost one quarter of a group of surgically treated patients. Such spread occurred most commonly in an aboral direction and was usually accompanied by an exacerbation of symptoms, although spread occasionally occurred during apparently quiescent periods. Keywords
