Abstract
If in-vessel components in a fusion device are made of two or more different materials, materials mixing will take place via erosion and redeposition. Such materials mixing can alter surface characteristics significantly, which then impacts on the plasma interactions behavior. This is particularly true if low-Z and high-Z materials are mixed up, where Z is the atomic number. Discussed in this report are the dynamic compatibilities between these materials under DT-plasma particle bombardment. Keywords
