Experiments in Crossing Aedes (Stegomyia) aegypti Linnaeus and Aedes (Stegomyia) albopictus Skuse

Abstract
Group breedings were unsuccessful in 4 breedings of male A. albopictus and female A. aegypti. Of 4 reciprocal cross breedings,3 produced adult offspring, and one F1 cross gave sizeable F2. All offspring had all the characteristics of A aegypti in both F1 and F2.
